BionClo-S

Water-soluble packs that carry beneficial bacteria from the toilet into the septic tank

BionClo-S (S for soluble) comes in pre-measured water-soluble packs. Drop one into the toilet with no measuring and no handling; the film dissolves and the Bacillus travels with the wastewater into pipes and the septic tank, where it keeps breaking down organic matter and the sources of odour.

  • Four Bacillus strains, more than 4 billion viable spores per gram
  • Water-soluble packs, no measuring or handling
  • One pack a week, or two where odour is severe

WHY CHEMICALS FAIL

Why does the smell come back after cleaning?

Strong acids, alkalis and bleach kill bacteria and suppress odour at once, but only as a temporary chemical mask. With the decomposing microbes wiped out too, the septic tank loses its ability to break waste down, sludge builds up, and within days the odour returns stronger.

HOW IT WORKS

Put the beneficial bacteria back and decomposition restarts

The microbes adjust their own enzyme production to their surroundings, so they cope with the changing conditions in a septic tank better than any single enzyme. Several cooperating Bacillus species suppress pathogens and anaerobic bacteria, speed up the breakdown of organic matter and reduce odour.

  1. Suppress sulfate-reducing bacteria, cutting hydrogen sulfide (H₂S)
  2. Take up ammonia (NH₃/NH₄⁺)
  3. Reduce methane (CH₄), which is odourless but hazardous
  4. Break down sludge with protease, lipase, cellulase and amylase before it blocks pipes

Directions

  1. Drop one pack into the toilet each week.
  2. Where odour is severe, use two packs a week.
  3. For best results add it before bed, leave it overnight and flush the next morning, giving the bacteria time to activate.

Where to use it

  • Household toilets in houses and apartments
  • Bathroom drains that run to a septic tank
