- Nonanoic acid is a straight-chain saturated fatty acid found widely in nature. It can cause plants to dehydrate and wither within hours.
- Nonanoic acid biodegrades readily, ultimately being broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water.
- Absorbed rapidly after spraying, it disrupts weed surfaces and cell membranes, causing dehydration and death.
Directions for use
- Performs best under high temperatures and strong light.
- Spray the whole plant evenly.
- Effective on young weeds up to 15 cm tall.
- Under high temperatures and strong light, young weeds begin dehydrating 1–2 hours after application and die within 4–24 hours.
Precautions for use
- Wear a mask and gloves during use.
- Avoid direct contact and wash your hands with soap after use.
- Store in a cool place.
